About Gelati Italia

Gelati Italia uses only traditional Italian recipes to manufacture their legendary gelato and sorbets.

The company was founded in 1972 on the Gold Coast by an Italian Gelati maker who brought his family's 100 years of knowledge in the old art of Gelati making to Australia.

Queensland was far to attractive for sourcing fresh high quality fruits and dairy products to settle anywhere else, and of course those magnificent beaches….

Over thirty years have gone past since Gelati Italia first opened it doors and we are still making our Gelato and Sorbets with the same traditional recipes. We might be trying a few different combinations such as our Yolati, but it is still the traditional Italian flavours and recipes that everyone loves Gelati Italia for.
